Formed out of Melbourne’s lockdowns in 2021, Phoenix Burlesque Troupe produces acts and shows with a dazzling celebration of art, performance, and the unexpected! We are a collective of seasoned burlesque artists united by our passion for creating unforgettable variety cabaret experiences.

IT Boss lady by day and burlesque performer by night, Cherry Charleston is a rhinestoned rebel stripping off all your preconceived ideas. Inspired by the stars of bygone eras and reborn in the modern spotlight, Cherry uses her experience in tap dance, swing and musical theatre to spark joy and set the Melbourne scene ablaze. Winner of AAPC’s 2019 Amateur Burlesque Beauty Competition, Cherry is also the creative force behind Phoenix, the professional troupe burning down burlesque stereotypes.
